The Maintenance Technician performs production maintenance throughout the Fulfillment facility including but not limited to equipment breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance programs and continuous improvements activities.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• · Exhibit excellent proactive maintenance support including performing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
• · Troubleshoot, diagnose, and execute repairs in a safe, timely manner
• · Work closely with Plant Manager in handling contractor and 3rd party work orders and schedules
• · Utilize CMMS software to track, plan, and execute any projects, preventative maintenance, and work orders
• · Read and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
• · Work closely with the Plant Manager, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety to ensure safe, clean work environment that adheres to SQF and GMP guidelines
• · Build and maintain positive working relationships with all teams, peers, and departments
• · Maintain accurate records and data

Required Skills and Experience

• · Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
• · Proficient in Lock Out/ Tag Out (LOTO)
• · Proficient in knowledge of bearings, pulleys, chain drives, belt drives, and lubricants standards
• · Previous experience with powered conveyor systems and supporting equipment
• · Ability to provide mechanical troubleshooting, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervision
• · Strong problem-solving skills
• · Ability to be flexible to business priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• · Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics
• · Previous experience in machine shop to fabricate within specific tolerance
• · Experience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and networking devices
• · Allen Bradley experience

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)

$24 – $29 an hour
