Job requirements
- We are looking for a highly experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer with 10+ years of proven expertise across classical machine learning and modern AI/deep learning, with strong specialisation in image processing and computer vision.
- The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for developing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML solutions, including both classical ML models (regression, classification, clustering, time-series) and advanced AI models (deep learning, transformers, GANs).
- Architect and implement scalable image processing/computer vision systems (OCR, object detection, segmentation, recognition, image enhancement).
- Drive the adoption of MLOps best practices – model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, retraining pipelines.
- Build scalable data and ML workflows on GCP stack – Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on AI/ML projects.
- Continuously research and evaluate new algorithms, tools, and trends in AI/ML and image processing.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including classical ML and advanced AI/deep learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, OpenCV, Scikit-learn.
- Proven experience in image processing/computer vision applications.
- Hands-on expertise in GCP stack (Vertex AI, AI Platform, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, GKE).
- Strong background in data engineering concepts, feature engineering, and model optimization.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, statistics, and mathematical foundations of ML/AI.
