This position is responsible for managing the operational and fiscal activities for the airline crew division. Basic duties include employee management, process improvements, developing systems, and gaining overall efficiencies within the department. This position will assume ownership and is accountable for leading and implementing key project initiatives.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate airline implementations and instilling service orientation.
  • Lead by developing and cascading the organizations strategy/mission statement to all staff levels.
  • Organize resources such as facilities and employees to ensure effective production of goods and services.
  • Plan by prioritizing customer, employee and organizational requirements.
  • Manage performance procedures for the measurement and consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships.
  • Manage the quarterly client performance reports.
  • Oversee the review of department operations procedures for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate all IT enhancement and service requests for the airline division.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years of airline operations and management experience.
  • 1-2 years of daily airline crew scheduling experience and previous experience with labor groups.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and strategic planning.
  • Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
  • Experienced in formulating policy, developing and implementing new strategies, and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to motivate teams and maintain strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.

Salary and compensation

$100,000 — $130,000/year
