We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Tester to join our quality assurance team for a large-scale digital transformation project. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a modern portal. As a Mid-Level Tester, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, automating test cases, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web applications, APIs, and mobile interfaces
– Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern testing frameworks and tools
– Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for insurance workflows
– Test multi-language functionality (Portuguese-BR, Spanish-LATAM, English) and localization features
– Validate complex insurance forms, calculations, and business logic across different insurance types
– Execute API testing for RESTful services and GraphQL endpoints using tools like Postman or Insomnia
– Perform cross-browser testing and mobile responsiveness validation across multiple devices
– Test user authentication flows, role-based access controls, and security features
– Validate document upload, storage, and retrieval functionality with various file formats
– Test data export functionality and report generation across all insurance modules
– Execute performance testing to ensure system meets SLA requirements (99.9% uptime)
– Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems and collaborate with developers
– Participate in test case reviews and contribute to test strategy planning
– Validate compliance requirements and regulatory features for insurance industry standards
– Support user acceptance testing and coordinate with business stakeholders
– Maintain test documentation and contribute to quality metrics reporting
Requirements:
– Experience with web applications and API testing
– Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test case design techniques
– Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
– Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or REST Assured
– Understanding of different testing types (functional, integration, regression, performance)
– Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
– Knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
– Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better test automation
– Experience with cross-browser testing and mobile device testing
– Knowledge of performance testing concepts and basic load testing
– Understanding of security testing principles and common vulnerabilities
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills for defect reporting and stakeholder collaboration
– Ability to work in Agile environments and participate in sprint ceremonies
Nice to Have:
– Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Client
– Experience with micro-frontend architecture
– Familiarity with insurance or financial services applications
– Knowledge of React Native for mobile development
– Experience with Storybook for component documentation
– Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment strategies
– Experience with A/B testing and feature flag implementations
– Knowledge of Web Components and custom elements
– Experience with monorepo tools (Nx, Lerna, Rush)
– Familiarity with backend technologies for better full-stack collaboration
