What you will be doing as a Systems Administrator at GIZMO:

  • Administer our internal and client-specific FreeBSD and Ubuntu servers.

  • Build tools and automation around provisioning, management, and monitoring.

  • Manage our VMware virtualization and ZFS storage infrastructure, OpenLDAP directory, OS X Server, and ops tools (JIRA, HipChat, GitLab, Asterisk, etc.).

  • Oversee our Check MK monitoring systems and provide tier-1 client response under our SLA.

  • Work with our dev teams on infrastructure planning, deployment, and scaling.
