Piton Labs is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer. We’re looking for someone who is strong in full-stack development, especially with standout backend capabilities. Solid experience building cloud infrastructure is a plus. Startup experience—whether founding a company or joining an early team—is also highly valued. We strongly prefer candidates located between GMT‑8 (Pacific US) and GMT‑3, though applicants from other time zones may be considered case by case.
At Piton Labs, you’ll work with both startups and large organizations to tackle their most challenging technical problems. You’ll navigate the uncertainty and complexity that commonly come with software development, help customers build the right products, and clarify what truly needs to be built—not just pull tasks from a backlog. You’ll contribute to prioritization and focus on solving the highest-value problems for our clients.
We’re generally open to technical choices, but most projects use TypeScript, React, and Go. Cloud infrastructure is typically built on AWS, though some clients use other providers. You should have at least five years of experience with mainstream web application stacks, relational databases, and modern frontend technologies. Familiarity with these tools helps but isn’t required. You should be able to deliver reliable, well-tested code over the long term.
Your week may include:
– Building complex UI for web or mobile applications
– Designing and developing serverless API layers for new products
– Using infrastructure-as-code tools to create and deploy cloud architecture
– Presenting new features to customer stakeholders
You have strong self-drive and truly enjoy writing code. You like solving problems and continuously improving your technical skills. We value:
