Live Vicarious is a new live streaming app startup based in Austin, TX currently in closed beta, looking for an expert in marketing and brand to join our enthusiastic, passionate, and driven team as a VP of Marketing to prepare for our upcoming launch. We are looking for candidates in Austin, TX or Silicon Valley.

Our ideal candidate will… • Ideally have 5+ years experience in the startup world launching viral apps • Some areas include developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns for our targeted launch site, researching trends and identify opportunities, and managing the overall marketing process! • Build effective marketing processes and continually refine them. • Build metrics/reporting/analytics to quickly gauge market response and adapt to them. • Develops & executes PPC and SEO strategies to drive traffic and conversions • Develop site content strategies to improve lead and sales conversion and to enrich the experience of our customers and web site visitors. • Be obsessive, dedicated, passionate and HARDCORE about making something for the consumer! That means meeting deadlines and being willing to work hard in a fast paced, very fun work environment – that’s startup life! • Be working very closely with and reporting to our CEO

Your skills: • Prior experience as a CMO/VP/Director of Marketing with a successful track record of building, leading and managing a marketing team within a technology company. • Must be a dynamic leader, strong strategic thinker, pragmatic in approach to achieving results, and have proven communication skills • Has a deep understanding of existing and emerging web marketing technologies and best practices • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced environment, establishing priorities and meeting tight deadlines with accuracy. • Low ego, team player mindset. • Direct, yet collaborative communication style.
