The Vida team includes board‑certified obesity‑medicine physicians, licensed nutritionists, experienced coaches, and credentialed therapists. Vida’s nutritionists provide virtual medical nutrition therapy and diabetes self‑management education to support long‑term behavior change. They offer individual and group counseling and nutrition education to improve overall health.
Vida’s nutritionists are highly qualified and licensed in their respective states. They follow Vida’s guidelines, work within their professional scope, and comply with HIPAA, PHI, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a personal caseload of clients focused on preventing or treating chronic cardiometabolic conditions.
• Communicate with clients via video, phone, and digital messaging.
• Maintain expertise in diabetes self‑management and medical nutrition therapy.
• Use motivational interviewing to support behavior change.
• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure appropriate, high‑quality care.
• Strictly protect confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and PHI regulations.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate regularly in Vida trainings and internal communications.
• Meet or exceed quality and efficiency standards for care delivery.
Additional expectations:
• Take on 15‑minute scheduling blocks between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturdays, in your time zone.
• Accurately record hours worked using the correct ADP codes.
• Meet Vida’s quality assurance and compliance standards to ensure member safety and consistent care.
• Document all work using the Vida platform and required templates.
• Use cloud‑based tools such as Slack, Google Suite, and Zoom effectively.
• Be aware that Vida may adjust workloads and cancellation policies to maintain best practices.
• Follow Vida’s curriculum and clinical guidelines within your professional scope.
• Agree to all Vida policies and consent forms related to member support.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical or community setting.
• Certification in diabetes care and education is a plus.
• Certification in obesity and weight management is a plus.
• Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
Compensation: 37–40 USD per hour
