Spotify is looking for driven students who are passionate about music and ready to grow. This isn’t a conventional internship. This paid program gives you an in‑depth look at what it’s like to work at Spotify and offers insight into the business side of a rapidly expanding company. The summer internship lasts about 10 weeks, beginning in early June.

Business interns are assigned to teams that align with their academic experience and interests.

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll help shape how artists and listeners interact with Spotify around the world. You’ll collaborate with a team of more than 100 brand managers, creatives, designers, writers, producers, strategists, experiential specialists, and brand experts. The role offers a fast-paced introduction to music and content marketing, and your contributions will influence how people experience music.

As a Customer Success Intern, you’ll assist with daily tasks throughout the campaign cycle alongside the Customer Success Management team. You’ll play a reliable and important role in supporting the team, helping to enhance how listeners experience Spotify.

As an Editorial Intern, you’ll work on editorial projects such as curating high‑profile audiobook playlists, creating strategies to reach new audiences, and improving internal processes that evaluate team performance. Ideal candidates are analytical and follow trends within the book community across genres. Your efforts will impact how audiences engage with audiobooks.

What You’ll Do
As part of the New York City internship cohort, you’ll take on one of the following roles.

Marketing:
• Support the Marketing team by helping develop creative materials and carry out campaigns with internal teams and external agencies focused on artists, partners, original content, or consumer marketing.
• Collaborate with Spotify’s internal marketing teams and various external partners to assist with both local and global campaign execution and approvals.

Customer Success:
• Create or modify sales orders.
• Respond to inventory availability requests for media planning.
• Gather audience insights for RFPs and campaign reports.
• Manage IO processing, campaign setups, and approvals.
• Complete requests for third‑party brand measurement.
• Prepare reports for kickoff, mid‑campaign updates, and post‑campaign reviews.
• Handle production requests and submissions.
• Work with outsourcing partners to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Support key projects for the account management team.
• Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and logistics for account management.
• Help with special tasks for major accounts and campaigns.
• Organize planning and strategy sessions.
• Work with cross-functional teams on joint projects.
• Follow internal procedures, processes, and workflows.

Editorial:
• Work closely with US editors to develop strategies and processes that improve monitoring of important performance metrics.
• Build a project that increases editorial programming opportunities for underrepresented voices and creators.

Who You Are
• You are working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
• You expect to graduate in 2026 or 2027.
• You have valid work authorization for the role’s location for June through August 2026.
• You are available from June 15 to August 21, 2026.
• You are highly self‑driven.
• You are curious about the global music scene, genres, history, influential artists, and trustworthy sources of information.
• You are passionate about developing content and interested in the entertainment world.
• You enjoy collaborating with others.
• You are interested in production, original storytelling, and crafting clear messages for consumers.
• You are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides and can work with role‑specific systems such as CRMs, OMSs, ad servers, and other digital media tools (for Customer Success roles).

Where You’ll Be
• This internship is based in Spotify’s New York City office.
• The program includes in‑office activities and networking opportunities. To fully participate, you’ll need to work in the office three days a week.

The hourly wage for this role in the United States is $32, with eligibility for overtime. Benefits include paid public holidays and opportunities for learning and development. Compensation rates may vary.

This paid internship lasts around 10 weeks and begins in mid‑June 2026. Applications are due by February 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET.
