We are seeking three motivated and detail-oriented summer IT Interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in IT operations, information security, and business operations. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with our IT and business teams, get trained on a variety of tech tools and processes, contribute to critical projects and learn from seasoned professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and organizing files, documents, and workflows in Google Drive
- Assist in inventory of all organization-owned machines and devices.
- Support Google Workspace data labeling project
- Contribute to creating and maintaining IT business process documentation
- Support IT inventory management
- Assist with IT training sessions
- AV setup support
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Google Drive Expertise: Proficiency in organizing, managing, and collaborating on documents and files within Google Drive.
- Writing Skills: Ability to create clear, concise, and professional documentation and communications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Excel Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, managing data, and utilizing basic formulas.
- Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Education and Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and information security principles.
- Strong organizational and writing abilities.
- Enthusiastic about learning and growing in a dynamic environment.
$25 – $25 an hour
This is a non-exempt position.
