We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer, to join our team and play a vital role in shaping our company’s growth and success.
As a Solutions Architect/Infrastructure Architect, you will work in our Architects team responsible for our SaaS Infrastructure and Customer Solutions.
You will leverage your expertise to improve, deploy, operate, and integrate our Security Software Products. This covers all aspects from the design of our Global Software-as-a-Service platform, crafting solutions for customer and partner integrations as well as leading Proof of Concepts (PoC) and advising customers on architecture, technology, network-security and matching this to viable business models.
Your responsibilities will include cost and budget responsibility when delivering solution designs, advising customers, explaining complex technical concepts to partners, and creating technical concepts. We expect you to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to be able to be the trusted advisor internally as well as externally.
This role is individual-contributor-oriented, requiring a strong team player with a proven track record in the cybersecurity area of expertise, preferably within the hosting industry, e-Commerce or cloud infrastructure projects.
Tasks
- Integrate Botguard architecture systems into client environments.
- Assess current systems architecture and collaborate with development teams to recommend solutions or improvements.
- Resolve technical issues as they arise and design, modify, and test technical solutions.
- Provide guidance to development teams and clients, informing stakeholders about technical issues and assessing the business impact of technical choices.
- Update stakeholders on product development processes and interact directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze client systems or processes to identify opportunities where Botguard solutions can add value.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Botguard products’ functionality and how they address client needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to outline proposed solutions, emphasizing both technical aspects and business value.
- Provide ongoing third-level technical support to partners, addressing questions, concerns, and technical issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the IT field as an Infrastructure Engineer (or System Administrator or similar) within the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on infrastructure for hosting, e-Commerce or cloud.
- Good exposure in OSI model, firewalling and web-traffic management.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated individual contributor who can also excel as a team player.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
