Hackster.io is hiring a part time social media guru to increase our efforts on building the best community for hardware hackers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- curate and share useful content for hackers on Twitter and Facebook
- write insightful blog posts about hardware hacking and development tools
- curate projects, blog posts and user highlights in our weekly newsletter
Who we’re looking for:
- you are or are willing to become an expert at all things related to hardware making
- you’re detail-oriented and write perfect English
- you’re willing and able to learn new things
- you’re analytical and know to adapt your content based on past performance data
- you’re a self-starter and will find your own ways to reach the company’s goals
- you have an eye for design and know how to do basic Photoshop’ing
Nitty gritty:
- part time position 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day Monday-Friday. Will consider full time for the right fit.
- work from our office in downtown San Francisco or telecommute (Pacific timezone preferred)
- $25/hour + equity
