Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Release Administrator with extensive knowledge of Salesforce DevOps, especially Copado. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining efficient and reliable operations across our Salesforce environments using industry best practices.

Basic Requirements:
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
• Must live and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator with a strong DevOps focus.

Additional Qualifications:
• Salesforce administrator and advanced administrator certifications.
• Demonstrated expertise with Copado or similar tools for managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines; Copado Fundamentals certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and deployment processes.
• Proficiency with tools supporting Salesforce DevOps, including version control, data migration, and metadata management.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• A collaborative, proactive team contributor.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer Salesforce environments to ensure high performance, security, and accessibility.
• Use Copado extensively to design, configure, and oversee Salesforce deployment pipelines.
• Work closely with developers to support smooth and consistent release cycles.
• Diagnose and resolve deployment issues, merge conflicts, and environment syncing challenges.
• Lead the implementation of Salesforce DevOps best practices aligned with industry standards.
• Use Copado to automate routine operations and streamline processes, such as data deployment and automated testing.
• Regularly examine and maintain clean metadata across environments.
• Stay informed on new Salesforce releases and ensure our systems leverage the most valuable updates.
• Provide training and mentorship on Salesforce deployment best practices.

Public Trust Clearance:
This position requires the successful candidate to obtain a public trust clearance. To qualify, candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Work Location:
We maintain collaborative office spaces in Leesburg, VA; Arlington, VA; and Baltimore, MD for those who prefer on‑site work. However, Softrams, a Tria Federal company, operates as a remote‑first organization working in the Eastern Time Zone. Standard working hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, with flexibility based on team needs.
