In this role, you will be an essential part of our expanding Salesforce team, which includes both engineers and administrators. We’re looking for someone proactive who can help improve and enhance our Salesforce platform by collecting requirements from various business groups, designing scalable best‑practice solutions, and managing the product roadmap. Providing an excellent Salesforce user experience is a top priority, and our administrators handle all aspects of user management, including support requests, training, and creating user‑focused solutions.

This position requires strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and a willingness to keep learning. You should understand our current configuration and business goals so you can quickly spot opportunities for improvement. You’ll need to be comfortable with change management, governance, communication, prioritization, and overseeing all parts of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate works well in a team, collaborates with stakeholders at every level, and can clearly explain technical concepts in simple terms.

How you’ll contribute:
• Manage users and licenses, including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, and sharing rules.
• Make Salesforce configuration changes such as Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile setup, dashboards, and reports.
• Maintain sandbox environments.
• Identify and gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user‑friendly solutions.
• Spot unused or underutilized platform features.
• Work with the Salesforce team and stakeholders to shape the Salesforce platform roadmap.
• Communicate platform updates to users and stakeholders.
• Manage data quality and implement rules and automation as needed.
• Perform proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer.
• Handle user support tickets via Salesforce Cases and Slack/Jira.
• Monitor and improve user adoption.
• Provide training for new and current users.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Work with integrated applications such as Intacct, Clari, Salesloft, LeanData, ZoomInfo, Spiff, Marketo, Bizible, Gainsight, Pendo, Freshdesk, and others.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed:
• Valid Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst certifications.
• 2+ years of Salesforce and Force.com administrative experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.
• Experience designing scalable, best‑practice solutions.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities.
• Skill in translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with change management and governance.
• Ability to train users and stakeholders.
• Proven experience creating technical documentation.
• Responsiveness to questions and requests.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile setup, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience working with Agile teams and tools such as Jira or Monday.com.
• SaaS experience preferred.
• Experience with Apex code and custom Apex classes preferred.
• Experience with managed packages and the AppExchange preferred.
• CPQ experience preferred.
• Preferred availability aligned with Pacific Time Zone hours.
