The Vida team includes physicians certified in obesity medicine, licensed dietitians, experienced coaches, and licensed therapists. Together, they deliver a holistic approach that promotes weight loss, stress reduction, and overall well‑being.

Vida’s dietitians provide virtual medical nutrition therapy and diabetes self‑management education to support long‑term behavior change. They offer individual and group nutrition counseling and education to improve overall health.

Vida dietitians are highly qualified and licensed within their respective states. They follow Vida guidelines, practice within their professional scope, and comply with HIPAA, PHI requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a personal caseload for the prevention or treatment of chronic cardiometabolic conditions.
• Communicate with clients through video, phone, and electronic messaging.
• Maintain expertise in diabetes self‑management and medical nutrition therapy.
• Use motivational interviewing to support behavior change.
• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure high‑quality, appropriate care.
• Strictly protect confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and PHI regulations.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Regularly participate in Vida trainings and internal communications.
• Meet or exceed quality and efficiency standards for care delivery.

Additional expectations:
• Commit to 15‑minute scheduling blocks between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday in your local time zone.
• Accurately record work hours using the appropriate ADP codes.
• Adhere to Vida’s QA and compliance standards to ensure member safety and consistent care.
• Document all work using the Vida platform and required templates.
• Use cloud‑based tools such as Slack, Google Suite, and Zoom effectively.
• Understand that Vida may adjust caseloads and cancellation policies to maintain best practices.
• Follow the Vida curriculum and clinical guidelines within your professional scope.
• Agree to all Vida policies and consent forms related to member support.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical or community setting.
• Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification preferred.
• Obesity and weight‑management certification preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Compensation: 37–40 USD per hour
