BulletFarm is seeking a Technical Animator/Rigging Artist to join a forming team as we build a new co-op FPS. We’re a small, highly collaborative group focused on creating great games for players, and we’re looking for people who are eager to work together and learn new skills.
**The Role**
Lead Staff Technical Animator/Rigging Artist for a co-op FPS. You will:
– Drive the Technical Animation and Rigging pipelines and workflows for a brand-new Unreal Engine 5.x project
– Collaborate with Technical and Art Directors to deliver the highest-quality animations
– Create tools, pipelines, and best practices to support the animation team
– Help maintain and enhance the integration of animation assets from Maya (or equivalent 3D tools) into Unreal
– Produce clear, user-friendly documentation
**Qualifications**
– 3+ years as a Tech Artist and 5+ years professionally in the video game industry
– FPS character rigging experience, including humanoids and quadruped creatures
– Scripting experience using Blueprint, Python, C++, Mel, or comparable languages
– Strong understanding of modern AAA engine content pipeline components
– Expert knowledge of Maya, MotionBuilder, or similar animation software
**Preferred Experience**
– Shipped at least one AAA video game
– Familiarity with Unreal Engine’s internal animation systems
– Experience with mocap and procedural animation workflows
– FPS weapon rigging experience

**Salary Ranges:**
– USD: $97,000–$185,000
– CAD: $80,000–$162,000
