VL Group, a combination marketing and software development company, is seeking a QA Lead in a small growing company to help build and define a more formal testing methodology. The successful candidate will have the technical skills to understand architecture and dive deep into websites and applications to uncover bugs before moving to production. They will also play a role in investigating trouble conditions reported from the production environment and will create tools to test production services on a systematic basis. The candidate will work directly with the Development and Client teams to implement new testing procedures and coordinate testing within the project delivery schedule. They must have some familiarity with established user experience principles, and the ability to understand and interpret website wireframes and how these translate into functional specifications. This is a telecommuting position, interfacing with team members in NY, Chicago and Dallas. Candidates should be Texas based, preferably Dallas.
