Overview
The Associate, Marketing Technology manages, organizes, and improves all marketing assets to ensure they are accurate, accessible, and up to date. This role maintains a current library and taxonomy of marketing content across various platforms, evaluates how assets are used, and applies a system to phase out outdated or unused materials.
Responsibilities
• Oversee how digital assets are connected and utilized across platforms and customer interactions to enhance the user experience.
• Manage the lifecycle of new and updated assets, including acquisition, metadata organization, archiving, and removal.
• Document, organize, and store content so it is properly categorized and easy for teams across the company to find.
• Develop and maintain a structured digital library with well‑organized, tagged, and easily searchable assets.
• Ensure version control so the latest materials are always available.
• Work with internal and external teams throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce standards for naming, metadata, and usage rights to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Train and support team members in using digital asset management systems and following best practices.
• Apply strong knowledge of asset organization, metadata, rights management, governance, and brand standards, ensuring consistency.
• Understand copyright and intellectual property laws related to digital content.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency in asset management and brand compliance.
• Juggle multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational skills.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well with others.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to help achieve brand and asset management objectives.
Qualifications / Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Digital Media, Library Science, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of experience in creative production, digital asset management, media management, or a similar administrative role.
• Experience with marketing platforms such as Adobe AEM, Accent, Eloqua, Brightcove, Sitecore, and Workfront.
Protective’s salary range for this position is $62,000 to $80,000, with actual pay depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills. This range represents only part of Protective’s full compensation package.
The role also includes opportunities for additional performance‑based bonuses.
