ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for translating and transliterating English metadata into Malayalam for currently airing TV programs, as well as proactively researching information related to TV and movie content.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate and transliterate English content into Malayalam.
• Convert English content quickly while preserving nuance in Malayalam.
• Follow editorial guidelines and global content standards when translating descriptors.
• Maintain accurate database records and update outdated information.
• Ensure database accuracy and verify the authenticity of program details.
• Deliver reliable, accurate information on time.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Native-level fluency in Malayalam.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding both Malayalam and English.
• Ability to translate from English to Malayalam.
• Awareness of regional translation considerations, including cultural sensitivities.
• Strong research, rephrasing, and rewriting abilities.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools and web-based applications.
• Able to perform fact-checking using standard reference sources.

• Good coordination skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Curious and eager to learn.
• Strong logical reasoning abilities.
• Familiarity with various TV channels and shows is an advantage.
