Shotstack is a leading provider of APIs for video editing and automated media production, based in Sydney, Australia.
We are looking to scale our technical content efforts by bringing on board an experienced technical writer who can manage our end-to-end content production pipeline from idea to CMS.If you have a mixture of software development, writing, SEO and design experience this job will be a perfect match for your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and prepare technical blog article briefs for external authors and technical writers.
- Proofread, fact-check, edit and rewrite externally written articles to ensure they meet the highest level of English and quality standards.
- Write, understand, and test short code samples for, and written by technical authors.
Qualification
- Fluent, native English speaking with exceptional writing skills.
- You will either come from a software engineering background and have exceptional English writing skills. Or you will come from a writing background and know how to read, write, and understand basic code samples and demos.
- SEO research and tools, good taste, an eye for design and basic image editing a bonus.
- 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role.
This is a flexible full or part time role depending on circumstances and experience, working remote worldwide or in Sydney, Australia.
