Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our global team. As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, primarily on Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of our cloud services, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage cloud resources in Azure.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated deployments and continuous integration.
Containerization:
Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker. Experience with orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is optional and considered a plus.
Scripting & Automation:
Create and maintain automation scripts in Shell or Python to streamline operations and processes.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Analyze logs and metrics using tools available in Azure and other platforms (e.g., New Relic) to ensure the high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure. Provide troubleshooting support as needed.
Messaging Systems (for CloudOps Integrations Team):
Manage and operate messaging services like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Event Hub.
Security & Access Management (Plus):
Manage and monitor access controls and credential management within Azure environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Networking (Plus):
Configure and manage network components in Azure, including virtual networks, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong experience with CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker). Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes is optional and considered a plus.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
Ability to analyze logs and metrics using tools like Azure Monitor and New Relic.
Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Event Hub).
Knowledge of Azure networking and security best practices is a plus.
Problem Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Communication:
Intermediate English proficiency required, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with credential management and access controls within Azure environments.
Understanding of network architecture and configurations in Azure.
