Zazzle is seeking a native Japanese Localisation Specialist to join the International team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with colleagues around the world and across various departments, including SEO, SEM, Merchandising, Email, Customer Support, Legal, Compliance, and other Localisation teams. This hybrid position requires at least two days per week in the Cork office.

As a member of the Onsite Marketing team, you will manage the localisation, upkeep, and growth of the Japanese domain. Your tasks will include creating or translating product descriptions, SEO content, SEM campaigns, marketing emails, and other customer-facing materials.

Job Responsibilities:
• Localise all content, such as product descriptions and new features, including translations, measurements, and cultural references, using various internal tools.
• Work with the Merchandising team to adapt and improve onsite landing pages and user experiences, and track changes in conversion and bounce rates.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to enhance landing pages for organic traffic through keyword and competitor research and by writing SEO content. Monitor effects on rankings, impressions, and clicks.
• Partner with the SEM team to improve Google Ads campaigns, capturing demand and traffic in the Japanese market while maintaining efficiency and net contribution.
• Schedule discounts and promotions, and evaluate their impact on conversions, bookings, and gross contribution. Recommend alternative offers for the Japanese market when necessary.
• Localise and QA all campaign and trigger emails, including translations, new marketing copy, and PID recommendations.
• Conduct competitor research for campaign ideas and pricing comparisons.
• Monitor and analyse bookings, gross and net contribution, traffic, and conversion rates.
• Support the Customer Care team with Japanese cases, address translations, help-centre content, responses on third‑party review sites, and other tasks when needed.
• Regularly QA the Japanese site, reporting and following up on bugs or issues with relevant teams.
• Assist with marketing tasks or projects for other international domains when required.

About you:
• Native Japanese speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Skilled in translation and copywriting, with the ability to translate English into Japanese.
• Technically capable and quick to learn new tools.
• Organised and proactive.
• Exceptional attention to detail in translations and all other work.
• Strong analytical abilities and confidence in reviewing data to recommend improvements.
• A good eye for design and current trends.
• A flexible team player who adapts easily to change and enjoys working collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other marketing tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
