Restaurant365 is a SaaS company disrupting the restaurant industry! Our cloud-based platform provides a unique, centralized solution for accounting and back-office operations for restaurants. Restaurant365’s culture is focused on empowering team members to produce top-notch results while elevating their skills. We’re constantly evolving and improving to make sure we are and always will be “Best in Class” … and we want that for you too!
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build and evolve the foundational cloud systems that enable our platform to scale securely and reliably. This is a hands-on, architecture-minded role focused on global infrastructure services — including networking, IAM/SSO, Kubernetes environments, and cost management — that span across teams and products.
Unlike our DevOps Engineers, this role is not embedded within application delivery teams and does not support CI/CD pipelines for application deployments. Instead, it serves as a force multiplier for R&D by delivering and maintaining the infrastructure backbone that powers our cloud-native platform.
How you’ll add value:

    • Design, build, and maintain global cloud infrastructure services that support all products and environments
    • Standardize and automate provisioning of cloud resources across AWS and Azure
    • Define and enforce best practices around networking, IAM, and resource configuration
    • Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, ECS) including upgrades, policies, and scaling
    • Drive infrastructure cost optimization, performance tuning, and resource hygiene
    • Collaborate with InfoSec on shared controls, including encryption, access, and compliance
    • Create reusable patterns, IaC modules, and tools that reduce friction for Infrastructure teams
    • Lead platform-wide infrastructure initiatives with broad organizational impact
    • Act as a trusted advisor to DevOps and application delivery teams on how to consume shared infrastructure safely and efficiently
    • Support observability infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch
    • Mentor junior engineers within the broader Infrastructure function
    • Act as a key contributor in strategic planning for the future Infrastructure Engineering function
    • Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

    • 5–8+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
    • Hands-on experience with VPCs, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and private networking
    • Strong Kubernetes expertise in production environments (EKS, AKS, ECS)
    • Experience managing cloud IAM (e.g., federated access, RBAC, SSO integration)
    • Familiarity with infrastructure cost management and right-sizing practices
    • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
    • Comfortable working cross-functionally with InfoSec, DevOps, and platform stakeholders
    • Ability to lead complex infrastructure initiatives and mentor others
    • PREFERRED:
    • Experience administering both Windows and Linux systems
    • Experience integrating cloud infrastructure with SSO/IdP tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)
    • Exposure to compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
    • Scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
    • Experience with multi-account/multi-subscription cloud architecture
    • Prior experience in SaaS or high-growth tech companies
    • Understanding of Nginx, Apache Tomcat, or similar web server technologies
    • AWS or Azure cloud certifications
