Job Description
The Senior HubSpot Administrator I plays a key role in designing scalable CRM systems and enabling revenue growth through strong system architecture and cross‑department collaboration. This position manages the full customer data lifecycle in HubSpot, from building and refining custom objects, workflows, and integrations to establishing governance standards and ensuring reliable data access. Using a background in software engineering and scripting languages such as HubL, JSON, and Python, this role creates automated pipelines and efficient data structures that give Sales and Marketing teams dependable information for strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
• Create, develop, and maintain a scalable HubSpot framework, including custom objects, workflows, automations, and data models that support rapid growth
• Lead HubSpot integrations with other Sales platforms, ensuring smooth data movement across the customer journey and applying advanced scripting when needed
• Build custom UI extensions with tools like React, JSON, or HubL to improve user experience and extend CRM capabilities
• Regularly review system performance, remove inefficiencies, and streamline automation to strengthen Sales and Marketing alignment
• Track API usage, query performance, and integration stability, resolving sync issues through root cause analysis to maintain system reliability
• Automate manual Sales and Marketing processes to boost speed, accuracy, and consistency, creating reusable and version‑controlled components
• Partner with Marketing and Sales leaders to convert business needs into technical solutions that enhance pipeline management and campaign performance
• Ensure clean, dependable data across all connected systems by implementing governance standards and automated quality controls
• Build advanced reports and dashboards that provide insights and guide strategic decisions
• Stay updated on new HubSpot features and create adoption plans that keep the organization at the forefront of automation innovation
• Oversee operational support, resolving technical issues submitted internally and serving as the main escalation contact for CRM system outages
Requirements
• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Marketing
• 4–7 years of CRM management experience, including system architecture and data modeling
• Advanced HubSpot certifications (Admin Bootcamp, Operations Hub Software) with proven experience building scalable, automated systems
• Deep knowledge of HubSpot automation, integrations, and reporting
• Experience with API integrations and scripting languages such as AWS, Python, or JavaScript/HubL for automation and data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to design strong data models that support analytics and business intelligence
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
• Preferred:
• Experience managing CRM systems during high‑growth periods
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, or external databases such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL
• Creative problem‑solver who balances strategy with hands‑on execution
$105,000 – $120,000 a year
Pay
For candidates in the Sacramento area, the salary range for this role is $105k–$120k. Inductive Automation sets salary ranges based on market data and offers flexibility. While starting at the top of the range is not typical, compensation depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and organizational needs.
