About
As Inside’s Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll be the voice of the business on social media, run all paid ads & spend, create and A/B test landing pages, and be responsible for driving free and paid subscriber growth.

What we’re looking for
A rockstar Growth Marketing Manager to manage marketing and social media for Inside. You will work remotely, with opportunities to work from Inside’s Toronto office. You have to be nimble enough to take on new projects, prioritize ‘minimum effort maximum results’ tasks, and solve problems in real-time with your own judgment.

About the role
  • Create and test landing pages promoting free and paid subscriptions to Inside newsletters
  • Own top of the funnel and paid advertising channels and be responsible for driving growth
  • Social media content creation: create a strong brand voice and identity on social, create engaging via audio/video clips and share relevant & fascinating content
  • Drive platform growth across social media: Twitter, Linkedin
  • Set up paid ads (SEM, Social, video – Google/YT/FB/Quora/Reddit) and always in search for new platforms to test
  • Manage marketing budgets and report regularly on the performance of campaigns
  • $40k – $45k CAD, work from home (or our Toronto office!)
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media or growth – marketing
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Data-driven
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Unbounce (or other landing page optimization + A/B testing tools) experience
  • Design experience (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, HTML/CSS)
  • Some video editing experience (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets and running paid marketing ads (Google/Social Media)
  • Desire to work in a team-based, entrepreneurial company
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Exceptional at learning on the fly and tackling new projects with little or no guidance
  • Bonus: experience working in a Business-to-Business or email newsletter environment
