The Global Logistics Specialist supports and coordinates international and domestic transportation and logistics operations. This role facilitates the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. The specialist collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to assist in maintaining smooth global logistics operations and meeting delivery timelines.
Essential Functions:

- Logistics Tracking and Monitoring:
- Use tracking systems and tools to monitor shipments in real time, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
- Address delays, discrepancies, or other issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment statuses and provide regular reports on progress and exceptions.
Logistics Coordination:
1. Manage the end-to-end process of international and domestic shipments, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery.
2. Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers to schedule and monitor shipments.
3. Collaborate with international partners to ensure alignment on shipping schedules and regulatory requirements.
4. Facilitate clear communication and resolve conflicts or misunderstandings promptly.
5. Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Compliance and Documentation:
1. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
2. Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.

- This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing systems.
- 1-2 years of experience in global logistics operations and practices.
- 1-2 years in a customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with third-party small parcel and freight tracking programs.
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Three years of related experience.
- Knowledge of U. S. export laws.
- Experience with software programs relevant to logistics operations.
Work Environment:
Physical Demands: The physical requirements include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and using hands to operate office equipment. The ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds is required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend work as required to meet job demands
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
