The Creative Lab is part of Spotify Advertising, the division that connects brands with millions of fans around the world. Our team acts as the in‑house creative agency for Spotify Advertising. We build brand experiences and collaborate with brands and agencies to inspire, shape, and scale ideas based on Spotify’s unique capabilities. We are storytellers who bring ideas to life through the power of our platform. We are now looking for someone to help shape our next phase of growth, advance our products, and further elevate our creative work.

We are hiring an experienced Creative Strategist in London, UK. This person will develop standout, Spotify‑first ideas, respond to creative briefs both proactively and reactively, and work closely with major brands, creators, and advertisers. While the role is based in London, it supports global clients—primarily in the UK and the US, with occasional work across Europe, India, South Korea, and Singapore.

Our ideal candidate is a forward‑thinking strategist who seamlessly blends technology with storytelling. They anticipate what’s ahead, spot emerging trends, and imagine future features and products through immersive narratives. They bring a broad skill set: high‑impact, audience‑driven ideas that meet brand needs; persuasive communication with senior leaders like CCOs and CMOs of global companies; and the ability to craft narratives, frameworks, and playbooks that help teams understand the creative potential of the platform.

This person will lead creative strategy for global, multinational clients across CPG, tech, and telecommunications. Experience working with global client teams is essential. They will report to the Head of EMEA & Global Accounts within the Creative Lab and join a diverse, talented team of Creative Strategists.

Although this is an individual‑contributor role, the strategist will collaborate closely with regional Creative Strategy teams, lead global clients and initiatives, and coordinate with global centers of excellence and brand teams. They will inspire teams, solve complex creative and organizational challenges, think broadly about industry trends, and translate those insights into our positioning, products, and offerings.

The result will be a strong portfolio of recognized, award‑winning work that demonstrates how Spotify creativity stands out in today’s digital and physical landscape.

What you’ll do
• Partner with the Head of EMEA & Global Accounts to develop impactful concepts, creative solutions, and strategic positioning for global accounts in CPG, tech, telco, and more
• Create global ideas, presentations, playbooks, frameworks, and narratives that help clients maximize their storytelling on Spotify
• Advise internal and external teams on how creativity can strengthen the relationship between brands and audiences
• Lead global accounts and collaborate with agency leadership to build strategies for a best‑in‑class advertising platform
• Work with clients and agencies to develop large‑scale, award‑worthy campaigns on Spotify
• Support operational tasks including account and resource planning, goal tracking, and process management across cross‑functional teams
• Define and evolve Spotify’s creative offerings and present them in ways that inspire partners to innovate with us
• Develop scalable approaches for supporting major clients, including strategic leadership and prioritization within joint business plans
• Deliver inspiring workshops for senior partners that merge bold creativity with brand objectives
• Work closely with other Creative Lab teams, including operations, production, creative intelligence, and global subject‑matter experts
• Produce thought leadership on industry trends, advertising, design, digital culture, and technology to inspire internal and external partners

Who you are
• You have 8–12+ years of experience in creative direction and strategy at a technology platform; agency experience is strongly preferred, and in‑house brand experience is a plus
• Experience with CPG and tech brands is beneficial
• You have worked across multiple markets and understand the importance of cultural nuance in the creative process
• You have experience collaborating with senior leaders in agencies and brands
• You excel in cross‑functional collaboration and can coordinate teams across sales, marketing, and product
• You are an excellent presenter who can inspire both senior executives and large industry audiences
• You have experience managing and organizing creative teams, including budgets and workflows
• You are highly organized and comfortable working across time zones and regions
• You thrive in fast‑paced, interconnected environments and can align marketing, brand, and product teams around shared goals
• You are deeply connected to culture and quick to spot emerging visual, digital, and technological trends
• You communicate exceptionally well, can articulate abstract ideas clearly, and can persuade when necessary
• You have strong knowledge of integrated marketing strategies, technology platforms, and social media, along with experience in digitally focused production
