The Creative Lab is part of Spotify Advertising, the division dedicated to connecting brands with millions of fans worldwide. Our team acts as Spotify Advertising’s in-house creative agency, developing branded experiences and collaborating with brands and agencies to inspire, craft, and scale ideas rooted in Spotify’s unique capabilities. We are storytellers focused on bringing ideas to life through the power of our platform, and we’re looking for someone to help guide our next phase by championing our products and elevating our creative output.

We’re hiring an experienced creative strategist to join our creative strategy team in London, UK. This person will drive standout ideas centered around Spotify, responding to creative briefs both proactively and reactively while co‑building with major brands, creators, and advertisers. Although the role is based in London, it supports global accounts, with work spanning primarily the UK and US, and occasionally Europe, India, South Korea, and Singapore depending on client needs.

Our ideal candidate is a forward-thinking strategist who excels at blending technology and storytelling. They anticipate what’s next, imagining future features and products with immersive narratives in mind. They bring a wide-ranging skill set: devising audience-driven ideas that meet brand goals, engaging senior leaders like CCOs and CMOs at Fortune 500 companies, and shaping narratives, frameworks, and playbooks that help teams understand what’s possible on the platform.

This person will lead creative thinking for global, multinational clients across CPG, tech, and telco. Experience working with global clients across markets is essential. They will report to the Head of EMEA & Global Accounts at Creative Lab and join a diverse and talented team of creative strategists.

While this is an individual-contributor role, the strategist will partner closely with regional creative strategists, leading global clients and initiatives alongside centers of excellence and global brand teams. They will inspire teams, tackle complex creative and operational challenges, think broadly about industry trends, and apply that perspective to our positioning, products, and offerings.

Along the way, they’ll build a portfolio of work that earns recognition and awards—demonstrating how creativity on Spotify can break through in today’s crowded digital and real-world environments.

What You’ll Do
• Work with the Head of EMEA & Global Accounts to develop impactful concepts, creative solutions, and positioning for Global Accounts across CPG, tech, telco, and other key sectors
• Create global ideas, presentations, playbooks, frameworks, and narratives that help top clients maximize their storytelling on Spotify
• Guide internal and external teams on how creativity can strengthen the bond between brands and audiences
• Manage global accounts and collaborate with global agency leaders on strategy, aiming to build a world-class advertising platform
• Partner with clients and agencies to produce large-scale, award‑winning campaigns on Spotify
• Support operational tasks such as account and resource planning, tracking goals, and managing processes with cross‑functional teams
• Define and strengthen Spotify’s creative offerings and present them in ways that persuade partners to innovate with us
• Develop scalable approaches for supporting major clients, including leading strategy and prioritization for joint business plans
• Run inspirational workshops with senior partners that balance bold creativity with brand needs
• Work closely with other Creative Lab teams, including operations, production, and creative intelligence, as well as global subject-matter experts
• Produce thought leadership on industry trends, advertising, design, digital culture, and technology to inspire internal and external partners

Who You Are
• You have 8–12+ years of experience in creative direction and strategy at a tech platform; agency experience is strongly preferred, with in‑house brand experience considered a plus
• Experience collaborating with CPG and tech brands is advantageous
• You’ve worked across multiple markets and understand the importance of cultural nuance in creative development
• You have experience partnering with senior‑level stakeholders at agencies and brands
• You excel at cross‑functional collaboration, aligning teams across sales, marketing, and product
• You’re an outstanding presenter who can inspire both senior executives and large industry audiences
• You’ve managed and operationalized creative teams, including budgets and workflows
• You’re highly organized and comfortable collaborating across time zones and regions
• You work well in fast‑paced, matrixed environments and can build alignment across marketing, brand, and product teams
• You’re deeply plugged into culture and skilled at spotting emerging visual, digital, and tech trends
• You’re an exceptional communicator who can clearly express abstract ideas and influence when needed
• You have a strong understanding of integrated marketing, tech platforms, and social media, with experience in digital‑first production
