We are looking for Filmmakers, Editors, and Cinematographers to join a multidisciplinary lab engaged in building beautiful experiences for the VSCO ecosystem. This position offers an opportunity to connect and tell the stories of the artists and creatives of our community and the creative world at large. You will work with our editorial team to produce compelling visual narratives and original documentaries. You will create relentlessly with a passion, discipline, and dedication to the craft.

Duties

Direct, shoot, and edit original shorts, documentaries, and marketing films Drive and manage the lifecycle of a film – from scheduling and budgeting to shooting to editing and post-production Develop concepts and storyboards in conjunction with editorial leads Work closely within a team of writers, journalists, designers, product managers, and producers Qualifications

Experience as a primary DP, cinematographer, and camera operator Experience as an editor Experience with set production Experience with color correction Experience with field recording, mastering, and audio engineering Experience producing and planning shoots Experience and ability to work with light-weight production crews – sometimes as small as a crew of one Nice to Have

Experience in post-production: visual effects, mograph, animation and general 3D

$75,000 — $110,000/year
