Location:(Hybrid Remote) in Chantilly, VA
The EITaaS Program is a Department of the Air Force initiative, which includes the Air Force and Space Force. EITaaS will transform the Dept. of the Air Force IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model. EXPANSIA and its partners will provide an enhanced IT management system, IT storefront, enterprise help desk, local field services, and life cycle support for end-user devices.
The proposed salary range for this position is $145,750-$173,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITES

    • ​Provide analysis, design, development, and integration of hardware, software, human-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements and functional objectives to provide an integrated EIT solution while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems.
    • Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolve software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
    • Education Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required and 10 years of relevant experience required.
    • Substitutions: 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. (15 years of relevant experience to qualify without a Bachelor’s Degree).
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Security+ CE Certification (or other IAT Level II or III Certification)
    • 10 years’ cumulative experience and knowledgeable with the following:
    • Hands on systems administration in Linux environments (RHCE equivalence) or Windows Server environments (MS Security Engineer/Solution Architect equivalence)
      ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) Integration
      Azure Cloud Computing Services (Experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos are a major plus)
      Integrating, securing, and understanding the following Microsoft platform services (both in Windows OS and in Azure Cloud): Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Windows AD-integrated PKI, Single Sign On (SSO) implementation
      Securing systems by following STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-27, NIST 800-137, FISMA, FEDRAMP), and negotiating/working-with IA personnel to arrive at sensible and effective solutions
      Customer interactions, including presenting, answering questions, proactively resolving issues
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Azure DevOps Engineering Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate
    • Experience with enhance data protection and compliance (such as OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, Cyphers)
    • Experience with log management, network firewalls, and testing. (Being able to track down the root cause of a service/application failure through the use of logs and CLI-based tools (Log-based Analysis))
    • Experience creating and analyzing PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, JAVA based, YAML and/or Python scripts
    • Experience with Agile/Kanban, Git/GitHub
    • Experience implementing, managing, and configuring with VMWare
    • Experience with identifying issues before they were known, developing solutions with timeline and managing expectations before, during and post execution while also understanding needs of individuals not just tasks
