- Own all aspects of copy, front to back for emails, landing pages, sales letters, video scripts, advertisements, etc.
- Quickly learn, capture and reflect the CEOs/Company’s voice appropriately across all content and messaging.
- Attend team meetings and maintain contact with the Company via phone/email/Slack/Zoom with reasonable frequency to discuss company, team, and/or project activities.
- Create copy that stands out because it’s engaging (while remaining persuasive) and fun to read. In a world with copycat marketers, sub-par products, and information spewing everywhere, this is crucial now, more so than ever before… and you’re up for the challenge!
- Create copy that strengthens and contributes to the Company’s mission and reputation while clearly communicating its intended messaging.
- Work with Marketing, Video, Tech, and Operation teams to understand their needs, contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Interpret the Company’s creative direction and understand its goals in order to adapt discussion points into persuasive copy.
- Identify areas that need improvement. You know what should and shouldn’t work already from experience, so you can spot mediocre copy a mile away and you’re dying to turn it into gold.
- Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to leadership.
- Be creative, inspiring and bring your ideas to the table. We WANT to hear your ideas and implement them if it pushes us forward.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Real Estate Investing experience is a plus (creative deals, wholesaling, fix/flip, buy/hold, etc.)
- Experience with Clickfunnels, WordPress, and Infusionsoft is highly desirable, but not a deal-breaker.
- 2+ years of prior direct response copywriting experience, with a solid understanding of sales hooks, proper framing, story selling, compliance, and ultimately crafting copy that converts through a persuasive, compelling, factual, and effective manner.
- Experience creating one or more types of either long-form sales letters, video sales letters, or webinars, video scripts, emails that sell the click, etc. The more, the better.
- Versatility and experience producing copy across a variety of digital communication channels.
- Ability to collaborate with graphic designers and content creators and flexible enough to adapt to the needs of all parties to achieve a common goal.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously; oftentimes with tight turnaround windows and changing deadlines due to necessary pivots.
