EnerKnol is seeking a marketinleader to help take New York Energy Week, the industry’s must-go annual energy series, to double in size to 6K delegates in our third year. Responsibilities: Manage overall marketing timeline and completion objectives for New York Energy Week 2015. Support communications, sponsorship sales and account management, invitation strategy, speaker placement and preparation, event content, volunteer placement, budget, board. Support sales team to reach sponsorship goals. Manage and oversee invitation strategy Help create content for events, curating speakers, moderators; fulfilling an overall vision of the event experience. Liaise with rest of EnerKnol management team, providing regular NYEW updates. Manage and oversee on-site strategy and volunteer placement at all NYEW events. Assist mnagement team in liaising with creative agency/brand partner. Support marketing for the year-round meetup group, placing speakers and providing direction to Steering Committee.
Qualifications 3 years experience in sales/marketing in the energy industry. Highly organized and results-driven Strong working relationships in the energy industry Fluency in digital marketing: email platforms, social media, PR, wordpress, SEO, google analytics Experience working with a creative agency and/or PR. Firm grasp on current energy issues and ability to interface with sector experts. Outstanding communication and presentation skills – both written and oral. Marketing partnership development and relationship management experience. Ability to think on your feet and remain composed under pressure Bachelor’s Degree from competitive university.
