Unlike most sales jobs, this one is 100% no-cold calling. All leads are either: existing advertisers (in need of up-selling), existing prospects, or participants in other activities with the publisher and thus at least lukewarm.
The ideal candidate is well versed on closing techniques and understands the plight of the overworked, marketing-illiterate, passionate small business in need of guidance. Thus, this is a solution-selling position.
Position has small base with healthy commission, given the lead structure this is a closer’s dream role.
