🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Modernization and Optimization: Elevate our existing LAMP stack and facilitate its migration to cloud-based solutions for enhanced manageability and fault tolerance.
- Cloud Services Management: Leverage AWS, EC2, and Cloudflare to implement load balancing and other cloud-based services.
- Systems Configuration: Utilize configuration management tools such as Puppet to automate and streamline system configurations.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish monitoring using Zabbix and engage in swift troubleshooting and triage for website outages.
- Server Management: Administer linux-based EC2 web and database servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Network Management: Implement advanced networking and security strategies to maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.
- CI/CD Management: Maintain and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines for web apps.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop SSH scripts to automate routine tasks.
🎓 Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on LAMP stack and cloud-based solutions.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep knowledge of AWS, EC2, HAProxy, Cloudflare.
- Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Puppet.
- Familiarity with MySQL database servers.
- Proficient in SSH scripting and automation.
- Networking Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of networking and network security.
- System Knowledge: Extensive experience with Linux-based systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think on one’s feet.
