Description

You will be an instrumental part of our engineering organization taking on the mission of maintaining and improving Superfluid’s web3-first infrastructure while ensuring its availability, security, and performance. It is of expected you to drive our long-term goals of vendor-independent infrastructure as well as reproducible development, build & deployment environments. You are the champion of a DevSecOps culture that helps other engineers to move fast without breaking things.

Responsibilities 🛠️

🎯 Contribute to our vision for infrastructure and work hands-on implementing that vision. This includes:

Implementing vendor independent infrastructure.

Creating reproducible building & deployment environments.

Evolving and maintaining Superfluidʼs web2 & web3 infrastructure, including:

Both hosted & self-hosted web3 RPC nodes and subgraph nodes

Load balancing systems (HAProxy)

Container orchestration, currently AWS ECS & AWS ECR

Static site hosting, currently AWS S3 & AWS CloudFront

Configure framework-defined infrastructure such as Netlify & Vercel

Observability tooling for logging, metrics, monitoring and alerting

Infrastructure as Code

🕵️ Systematically troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related incidents. 🧠 Cultivating a DevSecOps mindset where you focus on improving our security practices and efforts. 🧰 Implement tools to support engineers. 🏗️ Building & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions).

Requirements

Have at least 5 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role. Preferably with some web3 background.

Proficient with setting up & managing infrastructure in cloud services. Preferably multiple providers as we aim for a vendor independent hosting but at least AWS.

Experience in building and maintaining robust and highly available systems.

Experience in shipping containerized applications.

Experience in self-hosting web3 RPC & Subgraph nodes.

Fluent in English, both in speech and writing since we are a global organization.
