JOB SUMMARY
The DevOps Team Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of a blockchain platform and the overall software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in blockchain technology, DevOps practices, and project management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining a blockchain platform
Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as product owners, blockchain developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure that development and delivery processes are optimized and efficient
Develop and implement DevOps processes and methodologies to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automate workflows for the blockchain platform
Oversee the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions and cloud-based architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability and security
Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance and reduce downtime
Work closely with teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain, DevOps, software development, and cloud computing, identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve team performance and productivity
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in blockchain technology, DevOps, or a related field
Strong technical background in blockchain technology, automation, and infrastructure management in a blockchain environment
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex projects in a blockchain environment
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and containerization in a blockchain environment
Familiarity with blockchain platforms is a plus, but not a requirement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals.
