Description WalletConnect is the web3 communications protocol. Since our founding in 2018, we have empowered endless connections between wallets and apps, linking the web3 ecosystem together and fueling brand-new user experiences. We began with a single API and are now pushing the boundaries of wallet technology to build up a suite of APIs, all with our signature agnosticism (any wallet, any app, any chain). In March 2022, we raised our $11M Series A from USV, 1kx, Coinbase and other leading investors, and are looking to grow. The Role We’re looking for an experienced developer advocate that is as passionate about empowering developers as we are. You will play a key role in growing and educating our developer community and help them discover, implement, and succeed with our APIs. By collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing, you will help define WalletConnect’s broader strategy, serving as the bridge between our developer audience and internal teams. Requirements Responsibilities:
Represent WalletConnect in the developer community as a regular attendee and speaker at meet-ups, conferences, and events
Create engaging social content to drive education and adoption among developers, such as tutorials, demo apps, explainer videos, and other technical articles
Be able to answer community questions, speak with developers, and support integration partners
Represent the developer community externally and internally, shaping WalletConnect’s strategy and roadmap with your insights
Serve as a technical advisor to non-engineering functions
Must have:
Proven knowledge and experiences within web3 / blockchain
Confidence with popular programming languages and some experience with one or more of web3’s relevant technologies
Excellent written English communication skills
Outstanding public speaking, content creation (especially YouTube), and presentation skills
Strong Twitter presence and following
Prior experience in developer relations or similar roles highly desirable
