About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer Lead to join our Team. This role will consist of installing our suite of products in our clients’ SCADA system and providing ongoing support. Your installation and commissioning experience will be leveraged to improve and scale our products.
We are looking for someone interested in applying their knowledge in new ways to advance how techniques for commissioning software in SCADA systems can be leveraged with other technologies to provide industry-changing software products in a fast-growing technology start-up.
Reporting to the Head of Deployment, the Deployment Engineer Lead will lead, inspire, and mentor a team of deployment engineers and support specialists to drive the business forward. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and sales to align on customer needs, product roadmap, and deployment strategy. Further, you will be part of the deployment team that delivers robust solutions to the customer’s control room environments for improved pipeline operations. This role is a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise and leadership skills.
Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing and world-class team

- Collaborate with the executive team to define the deployment strategy
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
Technical
- Install our software in internal and customer environments
- Commission, integrate, and test our software in SCADA and DCS environments
- Manage third-party commissioning and installation personnel and resourcesUnderstand pipeline operations and hydraulic modeling/simulation
- Familiar with the management of change processes
- Understand Windows and, OPC server setup and configuration
- Understand HMI design in SCADA environments
- Drive continuous innovation to improve the delivery of products
- Define scope, requirements, objectives, and estimate schedules
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Produce comprehensive documentation throughout project lifecycles
