Diamond Foundry Inc. is addressing the thermal challenges at the core of today’s most innovative tech sectors — AI and cloud computing, electric vehicle power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have created the world’s first single‑crystal diamond wafers and are now working toward putting a diamond behind every chip. We are a rare unicorn that has achieved rapid and profitable growth. With $515 million in funding, we are carrying out a multi‑billion‑dollar expansion focused on one of the most environmentally friendly forms of tech manufacturing: transforming greenhouse gases into diamond wafers using zero‑emission energy.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Systems Engineer (Networking) to join Diamond Foundry’s global IT team as the organization’s top network expert. Based in Zaragoza, this position supports Tier‑1 manufacturing and office locations worldwide, collaborating closely with a primarily U.S.-based IT team to maintain production uptime, support fast site expansion, and improve network resilience across all regions.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage LAN, WAN, and Wi‑Fi infrastructure for Tier‑1 manufacturing and office sites.
• Lead network preparation for new facility builds and expansions, including the Zaragoza plant and future Spain locations.
• Handle routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and ISP circuits, including vendor management and escalation. Diagnose and resolve network issues related to VLANs, VPNs, and firewall setups.
• Develop and uphold network standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for network issues affecting production and for complex troubleshooting.

Requirements
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience; manufacturing or 24/7 environments strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on background with Wi‑Fi design, VLANs, routing, firewalls, ISPs, and VPNs.
• Experience supporting high‑availability or production‑critical environments.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Cisco (Meraki), CloudFlare, Atlassian, monitoring systems, cloud networking (GCP, AWS), and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus. Ability to travel between company sites in Spain as needed.

€50,000–€65,000 per year
