**The Opportunity**
Springboard offers an online, self-paced Cyber Security Career Track where participants learn through a carefully selected curriculum and 1-on-1 support from an expert mentor. Our mentor network—the foundation of our programs—includes some of the best cybersecurity professionals in the field.

**The Program:**
– Fully online and self-paced
– Students build cybersecurity proficiency using a curated online curriculum and hands-on, project-based assignments
– The program includes a 360-hour, expert-curated curriculum in partnership with InfoSec Learning
– Most students complete the course in about 6 months, typically dedicating 15–20 hours per week
– Students are working professionals worldwide who are committed to transitioning into cybersecurity
– Each student has a weekly 30-minute meeting with their mentor to discuss questions, projects, and career guidance
– Students can also communicate with mentors outside scheduled calls as needed to support learning and career goals
– Along with mentors, students receive support from full-time TAs, career coaches, unlimited mentors, a student advisor, and a technical community manager
**You:**
– Enjoy explaining cybersecurity fundamentals as much as doing cybersecurity work
– Are knowledgeable in the topics covered in our curriculum, with expertise in incident response, network scanning tools, vulnerability assessments, Kali Linux, and pCAP/log analysis, plus basic Python and PowerShell scripting
– Are skilled with the cybersecurity tools and technologies we use, including Wireshark, Nessus, Nmap/Kali Linux, Splunk, Snort, PfSense, Aircrack, Cain and Abel, VirtualBox, Hashcat, WebGoat, and Linux
– Have at least 3+ years of relevant professional experience
– Hold a current CISSP certification; additional credentials from Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA Security+, EC-Council, and SANS are preferred
– Can join each student for weekly 30-minute video check-ins to set and track learning goals, provide feedback, and support their path to employment
– Can spend an extra 30 minutes per call reviewing student submissions before the weekly meeting and preparing feedback to share during the call
– Have experience reviewing and critiquing work, especially providing meaningful feedback on cybersecurity tasks, and can respond quickly and effectively in real time
– Are empathetic, patient, and communicate clearly, with the ability to hold others accountable
