As a Renewal Account Communications Specialist, you will play an essential role in assisting the Renewal team by organizing, coordinating, and carrying out requests for customer calls. You will gather all necessary information ahead of each call to help ensure the conversation goes smoothly. This position demands strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

What you will do:
• Handle and complete customer call requests submitted by Renewal Opportunity Owners.
• Work closely with Renewal Representatives to ensure quotes adhere to pricing strategies, agreed-upon client terms, and overall account team goals.
• Assist opportunity owners in keeping CRM records accurate and up to date, including quotes, customer information, and renewal activities.
• Direct potential expansion opportunities to the Sales team and escalate accounts that may be at risk to the appropriate contacts.
• Continually learn about Instructure products and services to support upsell discussions during renewal talks.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by your manager or supervisor.
• Provide end-of-quarter support by contacting customers to confirm the status of renewal agreements.
• Cover teammates’ accounts when they are out, offering flexible support across different territories as needed.

What you will need:
• Over 5 years of experience negotiating contracts and pricing with customers.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in renewal preparation and management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience negotiating with executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, contracts, and customer usage for informed decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a structured, process-focused approach.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, as well as Clari and CPQ tools.
• Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platforms is an advantage.

Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 per year.
