Overview
The Associate, Marketing Technology oversees, organizes, and enhances all marketing assets to keep them accurate, accessible, and current. This position maintains a complete library and taxonomy of marketing materials across multiple platforms, reviews how assets are used, and implements a process to retire outdated or unused content.
Responsibilities
• Monitor how digital assets are linked and used across platforms and customer touchpoints to improve the user experience.
• Manage the full lifecycle of new and updated assets, from acquisition to metadata organization, archiving, and removal.
• Record, categorize, and store content so teams company‑wide can easily locate it.
• Create and maintain a structured digital library with clearly organized, tagged, and searchable assets.
• Maintain version control to ensure the most up‑to‑date materials are available.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Set and uphold standards for naming conventions, metadata, and usage rights to maintain clarity and consistency.
• Train and support team members in using digital asset management tools and following best practices.
• Apply strong knowledge of asset organization, metadata, rights management, governance, and brand standards to ensure consistency.
• Understand copyright and intellectual property requirements for digital content.
• Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support brand and asset management goals.
Qualifications / Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Digital Media, Library Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in creative production, digital asset management, media management, or a similar administrative position.
• Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Adobe AEM, Accent, Eloqua, Brightcove, Sitecore, and Workfront.
The salary range for this role at Protective is $62,000 to $80,000, with actual pay based on factors like location, experience, and skill level. This range reflects only part of the full compensation package.
The position also offers opportunities for additional performance‑based bonuses.
