About the Role:
The Client Partner is a hybrid role combining strategic consulting and technical expertise. This position requires managing client relationships, developing advertising strategies, and providing hands-on support for campaign setup, training and troubleshooting. The Client Partner also ensures smooth collaboration with internal teams and provides regular updates to senior leadership to align with business objectives.
Role Summary:
The Client Partner will manage relationships with key accounts, ensure successful campaign execution, and oversee operational processes that drive efficiency. This includes strategic advertising guidance, hands-on technical support, and managing key operational responsibilities like sales pipeline tracking, billing coordination, and providing business updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Consulting & Account Management:
● Develop and execute tailored advertising strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
● Manage and grow relationships with assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication and strategic guidance.
● Identify opportunities to grow client investments by upselling Pinterest’s advertising solutions and providing proactive recommendations based on data insights.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regional Product, Marketing, and Technical Support, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
● Lead the creation of compelling pitches and proposals, using market and client data to demonstrate Pinterest’s unique value proposition.
Technical Support & Training:
● Manage campaign setup and configuration when required, ensuring alignment with client objectives and best practices.
● Provide hands-on training for clients and agencies on ad setup, management, and optimization to empower them to effectively use Pinterest Ads.
● Troubleshoot technical issues related to campaign setup, ad management, or performance, offering timely and practical solutions to both clients and agencies.
Operational Management:
● Oversee Salesforce operations, including updating opportunities, tracking sales pipelines, and logging activity to maintain accurate records.
● Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure a smooth billing process by providing necessary documentation and maintaining visibility into client account status.
● Provide weekly updates to the Business Head, summarizing key account progress, sales pipeline status, and key client developments.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience in sales, account management, or advertising, preferably within the digital media or technology industry.
● Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at junior – mid levels, including marketing teams and decision-makers.
● A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to understand client needs and craft customized solutions.
● Hands-on experience in campaign setup, ad management, and troubleshooting within digital advertising platforms.
● Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
● Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
