Chinese Speaking Translator – Cyprus, Greece, or Remote

The Role:
We are looking for a talented Chinese Speaking Translator to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a key role in effectively communicating our brand and marketing messages to our target audience, with a strong emphasis on social media platforms. Your duties will involve translating a wide range of social media content from English into both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, ensuring cultural accuracy and linguistic precision.

Main responsibilities include:
• Translate and localize social media posts, captions, and campaigns across multiple platforms, maintaining consistency with the brand’s tone, voice, and messaging.
• Adapt video scripts, promotional materials, and visual content to ensure they are culturally engaging and suitable for each channel.
• Translate press releases, emails, website content, and promotional materials, adjusting language to reflect cultural and linguistic nuances in the target market.
• Proofread translations to eliminate grammatical and typographical errors and uphold high quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure translations align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Stay informed about social media trends and the language preferences of target audiences.

Main requirements:
• Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ translation experience.
• Experience in the financial services sector is considered an advantage.
• Excellent translation abilities in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, with fluency in English.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and audience trends.
• Passion for social marketing and solid knowledge of social media platforms such as XiaoHongShu, TikTok, Instagram, and others.
• Deep familiarity with social media trends and the ability to tailor content to suit each platform’s tone, style, and audience expectations.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
