Job Title : Database Administrator III – IN

Job responsibilities :

SQL Servers Administration-

· Log maintenance, truncating databases logs, trimming SQL back up, tuning of queries, ..etc.

· Configure and Monitor Automation tasks -backups/rebuild-reorg indexes/stats job/clear history/integrity check

· HA/DR Administration (review sync, review AG Dashboard for health)

· Implement secure environment (no explicit user access/AD domain /groups

· Review Data Platform resources (CPU, Memory, Storage usage, ability to analyze performance bottlenecks etc.)

· Migrate databases from earlier SQL Server version to the current SQL server version

· Create databases

· Run commands and scripts in SQL.

· Install and configure SQ Server agents on various SQL database servers.

· Plan for storage spaces requirements and placing them for optimum I/O performance.

· Involve in tuning of database by creating efficient store procedures and T-SQL statements.

· Design, development and maintenance of reports using report services (SSRS).

· Perform backup and restoration of databases, as well as troubleshoot and resolve user problems.

· Develop the monitoring scripts and DBA tool scripts to help DBA to perform the daily tasks.

· Develop various T-SQL store procedures, functions, views and adding/changing tables for data extraction, transformation, load and reporting.

· Support database administrator to troubleshoot and resolve various connectivity problems.

· Perform other DBA activities like including space management and performance monitoring.

Certifications:

MS SQL Server Administrator (DP-300 Certification within 12 month)
