What we are looking for:
• 7+ years of DevOps experience, including 5+ years working in Azure
• Expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, and security, including VNets, Front Door, WAF, Firewalls (Premium + IDPS), VPN, DNS, AD, App Service, Container Apps, Function Apps, Event Hub, Defender, and Sentinel
• Preferred experience with Azure AD B2C and strong understanding of identity and authentication security best practices
• Strong Terraform (IaC) skills for managing scalable, resilient cloud environments
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines, including security and performance testing
• Strong preference for experience with Datadog APM, including real-time alerting and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Hub-and-Spoke network architecture and cloud security concepts
• Solid experience administering Azure SQL Server, including cloud backups, replication, and high-availability solutions; Hyperscale experience is a plus
• Experience with disaster recovery, incident management, and high-availability designs
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps, including compliance, RBAC, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Experience optimizing cloud costs and monitoring usage trends
• Ability to thrive in a detail-focused, fast-paced remote environment while managing multiple projects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including supporting distributed teams
• Azure and/or Security certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and identity systems, maintaining SOC 2 compliance and following best practices
• Ensure high availability for customer-facing systems, with rapid incident response, automated failover, and disaster recovery plans
• Enhance and maintain Azure Pipelines for smooth CI/CD processes, including security, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Implement and maintain Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Lead the Datadog APM ecosystem, ensuring effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, RBAC, and proactive threat mitigation with Azure Defender and Sentinel
• Track Azure cost trends and apply FinOps strategies to optimize cloud expenses while maintaining performance and security
• Administer and improve Azure AD B2C for secure identity and authentication
• Build and maintain incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams, documenting best practices, infrastructure changes, and operational procedures
