We are looking for an awesome developer to help us to grow an early startup. We are in the market with a beta product.

Responsibilities:

The CTO will make substantive contributions to the development process beyond simply managing it. He or she will also be deeply involved in product strategy, feature prioritization and business strategy.

Experience:

Must have agile development experience. Must have broad-based application development experience and the judgment to balance decisions against user experience, cost, and implementation challenges. E-commerce, strong database, scaling experience, and familiarity with Amazon Web Services a huge plus. Demonstrated ability to apply Web development best practices with respect to scalability, security, usability, load-time, and basic search engine optimization is also important.

Skills:

As for specific technical skills: PHP, MySQL, and Laravel framework are crucial. Must have technical expertise to make strategic decisions about architecture, approach and technologies.

Education:

Start-up experience; scaling and growing an early startup are highly desired.

Compensation will be based on stock options and salary depending upon funding availability.
