Champion the Platform that Streamlines Banking Access
Prelim is looking for an exceptional Account Executive to join our (small, but growing!) team. As we continue our 2x year-over-year growth, you’ll work directly with banking executives to transform how they serve their customers.
At Prelim, you will leverage your outstanding communication skills, customer service passion, and dedication to banking innovation in this quota-carrying sales role. You will engage with prospects and customers daily, building relationships that transform how financial institutions operate.
You’ll develop trusted advisor relationships with VP and C-level executives, guiding them through complex buying processes. Working closely with our implementation and product teams, you’ll ensure customers successfully deploy our platform and realize tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for enterprise financial institutions
    • Build and nurture relationships with banking executives to understand their challenges
    • Articulate Prelim’s value proposition across technical and business stakeholders
    • Collaborate with implementation specialists to develop realistic deployment plans
    • Achieve quarterly booking targets and contribute to predictable revenue growth
    • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales activity documentation
    • Share customer feedback to help shape product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
    • Partner with marketing to develop industry-specific messaging and materials
Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, industries, and skills
    • Genuine interest in understanding how financial institutions operate and the challenges they face
    • Clear, persuasive communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
    • Talent for establishing trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
    • Ability to identify root challenges and collaborate on creative solutions
    • Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-growing company
    • Understanding of how technology drives business outcomes for customers
    • Enthusiasm for working across teams to ensure customer success
$205,000 – $235,000 a year
This role is eligible to participate in Prelim’s commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $205,000 – $235,000. The estimated base salary for this role is $105,000 – $125,000.
In addition to the base salary, this position includes equity compensation as part of our total compensation package. We believe in rewarding team members who contribute to our growth and success.
