At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Squad Leader to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview:

As a Squad Leader, you will guide and inspire a team of developers in both Brazil and Colombia, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Leveraging Agile Kanban/Scrum methodologies, you will play a crucial role in maintaining project excellence, motivating your team, and fostering an open and innovative culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse development team across Brazil and Colombia, driving collaboration towards shared goals.
• Implement Agile Kanban/Scrum practices, facilitating meetings, and organizing project deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of software products within budget and specified requirements.
• Coach and support team members to achieve their personal development and project objectives.
• Liaise with product teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver business value.
• Identify potential risks to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
• Cultivate a positive team culture that emphasizes creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Promote transparency and open communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, including code reviews and continuous integration.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience as a Scrum Squad Leader or Scrum Master with expertise in software development.
• Strong grasp of Agile principles, particularly the Kanban framework.
• Demonstrated success in leading software projects to timely and quality delivery.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with motivational skills.
• Expert problem-solving skills, adept at risk identification and mitigation.
• Collaborative spirit with experience working across functional teams and with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Agile tools, such as JIRA.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
