You have a few years of experience with front end development and you understand advantages and pitfalls of a single page app.

Treasure Data is looking for you to lead building web applications where UI/UX is a core value and is at the forefront of our development. We have a small, sharp and enthusiastic team of front end developers waiting for you to help establish best practices of the trade.

You have significant expertise with JavaScript and various MVC frameworks, experience in large web application development, and you have a deep and nuanced understanding of the importance of testing when it comes to production-quality code.

And if you are an active contributor to open source projects, even better.

Things you will do:

• Provide technical leadership to our front end team, enabling them in engaging with our other teams such as systems development, product, etc.

• Perform analyses and drive technical implementation design for our product

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to implement scalable and interactive applications

• Keep abreast of novel technical concepts that we should adopt (or not)

• Build sophisticated and elegant user interfaces with testability in mind

• Rapidly build product prototypes for internal evaluation and to help drive product development decisions

• Contribute to design standards and support design and code re-use

• Help drive design for and interface with our RESTful APIs.
